It was one of the sweetest and most thoughtful gifts anyone has ever given to me. The combination of the sun, alcohol, and exhaustion from the walking must have dehydrated me. The driver dropped Tim off at his apartment first.

We shared the cab ride home together. Tim helped carry me out of the park. He handed me a square package.

We went to our first couples therapy session together. Both were complicated and obsessive, layered with many personal issues, and were extraordinarily creative visionaries who ran successful companies. There are actually statistics that show that salary increase only make people happier until basic needs of food and water are met. And as if we were in some sort of twisted fairytale, he left me at the stroke of midnight with the gift and a goodbye kiss. He sees it as a weakness that I love love.

In therapy we talked about

Apparently, the feeling of falling in love is wired in us to help the survival of our species. In therapy we talked about how I am extremely picky about who I date. Our relationship with Disney World, like each other, was deeply conflicted and complicated.

Apparently the feeling

She asked us straight away if Tim and I were attracted to each other. We spent the morning running around to the various rides.

While this has certainly been the most unconventional romantic relationship of my life, Tim fits into all those categories. Our moods and emotions and feelings can change from day to day, minute to minute. At the beginning of the wait, Tim professed his hatred for Disney World. The experiment forced me to reevaluate my lifestyle and what I want in the future.

Tim seems extremely overwhelmed by the idea of having to see me every day for this project. It is interesting to me how we can so easily shift between love and hate. We both learned a tremendous amount about each other and about ourselves.

Our relationship with Disney

However, when I do decide I really like someone, I am quick to jump into a relationship in order to test it out and see how it goes. It seems almost impossible to universally define such a complex state of mind since we all experience life so uniquely. We schlepped our bags through security, and we ate dinner at the bar of some Mexican restaurant in silence. Tim jumped out of the cab, and grabbed something out of his luggage.

He loves the freedom of the single life. After we ate, I began to feel quite faint. Life passes by so quickly, and I like having an hour a week to reflect in an attempt to learn and grow from it all.

Tim finally broke the silence, and suggested we address the elephant in the room. By the end of the line he professed his love for it.
